Tourism in the Bahamas

This is the main industry in The Bahamas. Tourism generates over 50% of the total Gross Domestic Product. The islands attract over 6 million visitors a year. This industry has been breaking records every year (See article 'More visitors than ever.') The main attractions are swimming, diving, fishing, golf, and other fun activities in the sun. The Bahamas has the world's 3rd longest barrier reef, and contributes to 5% of coral found in the world.
